Anton Reiter

Library Educator

I have been a teacher for 15 years, after initially graduating with studies in both IT and a business, and then working in the corporate world.

I have been a classroom teacher, teaching most year levels, including coordinating Year 5/6, IT and sport. I have also worked in England. In the latter part of my career, I have switched from full-time classroom roles to be a part-time specialist teacher (Bike Ed, Technology and now Library).

My passion for library and literacy was born from many years of working in the junior and senior year levels to motivate students to explore the relevant reading curriculum in innovative ways. I was also inspired by a former librarian at my previous school.

My aim is to deliver both a traditional and innovative library program for students in P-6, and to support my colleagues with innovative ways to explore related classroom content.
