Kellie Tapping

Learning Support Officer

My name is Kellie Tapping and this will be my first year working in Education Support at Sacred Heart.

I look forward to working with the team to support and encourage the students of Sacred Heart, I am very passionate about children improving their reading and encouraging them to be the best they can be.

My journey in Education Support started 5 years ago in Brisbane when we relocated from Melbourne as a family with my husband Dale and children Summer & Mason.

I decided to change my career after working in the Legal & Travel industry to study Education Support. I was fortunate to work at two amazing primary schools in Brisbane and this also gave us a great work life balance as a family, due to Dale travelling every 2nd week.

We decided to relocate back to Melbourne after two years of border lockdowns not being able to visit our extended family and we returned to Western Suburbs after living here for over 20 years. My husband Dale obtained a coaching role in the AFL and our two children Summer & Mason are now in High School.

As a family with our dog Buddy in tow, we love to travel visiting beautiful beaches, eating great food and of course love our sport, especially AFL & Basketball.
