What is our Why?
Sacred Heart values the partnership between all stakeholders, in particular the benefits of positive links between students, parents and the school. Parental involvement in school activities strengthens the relationships between home and school and can enhance school programs by assisting in the provision of a broad range of learning experiences for all students.
When parents are involved at school, the performance of all the children at school, not just their own, tends to improve. The more comprehensive and well planned the partnership between the school and home, the higher the student achievement (Henderson and Berla).
