Literacy Leader
Hello! I’m Sue Burke and I have been teaching at Sacred Heart since 2017. Currently I am the English Leader which is a role I love! I have been teaching for 21 years and have spent 15 of those years at various schools in the western suburbs. I have teaching experience across all levels undertaking various leadership positions along the way. My education passion is analysing and interpreting data with a purpose to use it to support students’ learning. It’s so rewarding witnessing the pride when understandings are developed. I live in Altona with my husband Barry and the new ruler of our roost, Jasper, our 3 month old Maltese Shih Tzu. My hobbies include going for walks, craft, reading, baking and shopping!
