Prep Educator
Hi, my name is Caitlin McEwan and I have been a part of the Sacred Heart family since 2019. I have the privilege of teaching Prep again this year and it has been such a wonderful start to the year seeing all of the new Prep children transition to school.
My favourite part about being an educator is building strong connections with my students and their families. Developing relationships with my students enables me to discover how they learn best and support each child to develop their confidence both academically and socially.
I also value the importance of the classroom being the third teacher. I aim to create a space that is welcoming and safe, and offers opportunities for students to learn, discover, and explore.
I love keeping busy so in my spare time I enjoy cooking, reading, arts and crafts, going to the gym and spending time with my friends, family and dogs Ally and Maverick. This year I am so excited to continue my love of travelling with my husband Wayde, as we embark on a holiday to Japan and a cruise around the South Pacific Islands!
